   After about three months, I’ve finally got just about all of it done (except some little things I will be tweaking here and there). I’ve changed many, many things (mainly visual) and I would like to hear some of your opinions. Thanks...

PS: There's changes on just about every page so make sure you give it a good look.

   Thanks guys...

Costar:
1. Yep, it sure was.
2. It's ready to go now. Just not sure how or where I should promote it yet.
3. I'm flattered. :) But anyway, no, I'm not really looking to sell my work any time soon. If I ever do though, I would contact you if you'd like.
4. Look above...

   How did you incorparate the Featured Gallery Items on your front page, I noticed its a html page and didnt think that could be done. I see they rotate like a gallery of items posted?

   Done?
Do you know you have some links that go know where?

Top Bar - community isn't a link.
Announcements on the Bottom of the page also refresh the page.

Thought you might want to know.

Other then that it looks Nice...

Actually it's a highly modified dispcat7. The index.shtml is only opening the dispcat7 page up using a server side include (SHTML).

Thanks for telling me, but I knew about those two links. I haven't finished setting up vBulletin (the forums) yet so I couldn't do anything with that part. The announcements will eventually all be in a section of the forum also. I'll probably get working on that tomorrow...

As stated previously, great job! I should tell you your site has been unavailable several times in the past hour.

I have one suggestion. The small type, in that light orange color is difficult to read. Maybe I'm getting old, but that is the only thing I saw that could be a problem. Maybe you could make it darker, especially the fine type in the top right hand corner,

"Home | Your Account | Site Map | Log In/Out"

Aside from that, it looks great!

Good luck.

Jim

Hold on there, what is with the "trust" logo that goes nowhere in the bottom right? Are you registered with their service?

Bidflux is not listed on Trust-e's list of registered sites.

You can pull the auction site up using a index.shtml file like this one that is supplied with all download versions. but you have to delete the index.html file or it will use it instead sence servers look for a .html file first.

<!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en">
<html>
<head>
<meta name="AUTHOR" content="USANet Creations">
<meta name="CLASSIFACTION" content="AUCTION">
<meta name="RATING" content="GENERAL">
<meta name="DISTRIBUTION" content="GLOBAL">
<meta name="REVISIT" content="90 DAYS">
<meta name="ROBOTS" content="ALL">
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
<title>OnLine Auctions</title>
</head>

<body text="#000000" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" link="#3333FF" alink="#CC0000" vlink="#3333FF">

<!--#exec cgi="/cgi-bin/auction/auction.pl"-->

</body>
</html>

You can do any thing using SSI like pulling up just a category list, featured list, gallery lists from a shtml file using SSI but you have to create all the SSI scripting .pl files to do this. this is way over most users heads but yet the easyest thing to do.

   Joel:

I must say that you did a FANTASTIC job on your site!! It's very uniform and professional looking. One of the best I've seen so far!

Your colors show up fine for me and it all matches beautifully. Very impressive and alot of hard work on your end.
Keep up the great work...

Congrats
Nan
